• Proper house wrapping with taped seams
• Window and door flashing with the right overhangs
• Joint flashing - caulking in butt joints crack - This removes the need for caulking butt joints and unwanted cracked caulk joints
• Prime cut edges - prefer factory edges at butt joints and cut edges at window or door openings. We will prime all cut edges
• Stagger joints a single stud bay for 24” O.C and a double stud bay for 16” O.C
• Blind nailing is preferred (no exposed surface nails, especially at butt joints near edges)
• Butt joints need to land on studs
• Proper clearances at roof lines, steps, and decks

We usually use only rot-resistant products (as long as they match existing items) to prevent you from having to do this all over again. We use Hardie siding and trim, AZEK, Marley, MiraTEC, and such name brands to give you the best results. We provide you with a fixed price for all services listed in the proposal. Also, the best part is that we provide all clean-up and dumpster services. When the repairs are completed, we will provide with an estimate to repaint your home!
